The majority of organisations now use digital voice recorders for dictation, rather than the old style mini or micro cassette recorders. You should bear in mind when buying new equipment, that high quality machines will produce high quality recordings. We recommend that you discuss your requirements with a reputable dealer who can advise you on the most suitable choice for your needs.
We offer our clients access to a secure file transfer service as many voice files are too large to email. However we can also accept files up to 5MB by email and also by post or courier. Completed work is normally returned to you via email unless otherwise requested.
For non digital transcription we can accept DVDs and of course hand written documents. We regret that we no longer accept micro cassettes, mini cassettes, standard cassettes or videos for transcription. There has been a declining demand for these services over the past few years and the prohibitive cost of maintaining and purchasing transcription equipment means that for us providing this service is no longer practical. We apologise for any inconvenience.
